Knutsford (Cheshire)

The Head Office of Associated Valuers is in the Cheshire town of Knutsford, six miles south of Manchester Airport and situated on the edge of Tatton Park Estate, the former home of the Egerton family, now administered by the National Trust.

The town, recorded in the Doomsday book of 1086 as 'Cunetesford', is thought to have associations with King Canute who possibly camped in the area on his march to Scotland in 1017. More recently Knutsford was the setting for Elizabeth Gaskells novel 'Cranford' in which she recalls happy childhood memories.

Due to the company's growth a new office block in the town centre was acquired in the Spring of 2004

The directors Mike Annandale and John MacDonald are also active surveyors with combined experience of over 60 years in valuing properties in the North West of England.
